Research

This mission was conducted in the Dornogobi aimag, SE Gobi, for a total of 6 weeks in the following sums ('sum' = administrative sub-division):

Sainshand sum, Saikhandulaan sum, Hovsgol sum, Khatanbulag sum, and Mandakh sum.

During this mission, research was again conducted on Mongolian wild ass behavioral ecology and ethology, nature of interactions between wild asses, other species and human activities, and on threats affecting this species survival.

Some results of research conducted during this mission will be soon published on this page.

We are finishing three reports:

.one with results of research and actions conducted in 2008 & 2009,

.one with our results about threats affecting Mongolian wild ass’s survival from research conducted in 2008 & 2009,

.and one report with results of research and actions conducted in 2010.

As well as some scientific papers.
